I mean, you don't really need things like supersonic velocity, stealth technology, and hypermaneuverability when all you are doing is hauling stuff from Point A to Point B in friendly, uncontested airspace. It's perfect for transporting and airdropping anything that can fit in a 40 foot shipping container and weighs less than 30 tons. It is also remarkably good at surveying, weather recording, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, making instant helicopter landing zones in the jungle via giant bomb, and when guns are strapped on it, close air support for troops fighting people with no more firepower than a .50 caliber machine gun.
