R.A.F S.E.5a [Biplane Challenge]
A FIXED VERSION THAT DOESN'T FLY LIKE ** CAN BE FOUND HERE
If you would like to get your hands on a Dark Green / Blue version of this plane, one can be found here
A very overdue upload! I’ve been meaning to finish many projects in SP but I just end up starting new ones, my apologies! This will be my entry for Othawne’s Biplane Challenge, one of the finest British Aircraft of WWI, the S.E.5a in 1:1 scale made with blueprint references. It’s a bit fiddly to fly especially trying to do aggressive maneuvers at low altitude, it can be unforgiving but should be fun. The controls however are quite simple.
Controls are as follows:
Pitch = Pitch
Roll = Roll
Yaw = Yaw
Trim = Trim
Fireguns = Guns
Drop Ordinance Button= Four 25lb bombs [These bombs pack a punch so don’t get to close when dropping]
That’s about all from me for now, I’ll try to upload the three-four other projects I have in WIP in the coming months. But in the meantime, please enjoy!

what plane is this?
@F4f879 If you'd like, you can use the version that doesn't have a scuffed flight model xD. That would definitely be very cool.
why dont we put my se5 cockpit on this body that would be sick
@ChiChiWerx Heck yeah that looks great, didn't manage to come across it when building this sadly.
@Redvis Thank you :)
Very very good looking plane!!!
@DeezDucks makes sense
@jamesPLANESii Yeah I noticed, it's because the controls surfaces have increased drag so I wouldn't have to layer 25 or more of them on the ailerons and such, so it may lose energy very quickly.
Control sensitivity on this thing... sometimes it’s ok, and sometimes it’s too weak, and it bounces between each depending on what you’re doing. It’s very weird to fly...
@Tank6376 Well I am working on an IFV similar to the Type 89 right now, I'm just doing what I want to do not really any requests.
@DeezDucks i wanted something a bit more modern
@Tank6376 Maybe, I was thinking also like the Sd.Kfz 221 or Sd.Kfz 234/2 because I quite enjoy those two tanks in War Thunder
@DeezDucks panhard VBL?
@rowold Haha thanks
@Tank6376 Hmm I'll consider it, looks kind of weird though I might do something else.
@MisterT Thanks! Means a lot. btw do you have a date of when you might be releasing the WWI map?
@Tang0five Thank you!
this is just to good for a simple plane
@DeezDucks then can you build a Fv 721 fox
Aces High!
A piece of art ! Congrats dude !
This is pretty spectacular, grand job!
@blueangelproduction Thank you very much!
@Tank6376 when it comes to Vanilla ground vehicles, I build completely vanilla wheeled tanks but I will be using the tank tracks mod for tracked tanks.
----this is a wonderful biplane and it's existence is greatly enjoyable----
