Here is my entry for this challenege: a prop plane consisting of 6 parts. I did some experimentation with jet engines (which replaced the block) but I found they couldn't be controlled. So here is, in my opinion, the smallest flyable plane in the game (in terms of part numbers at least).
You will need to start in the air because of the lack of landing gear. I also wouldn't recommend rolling too hard.
