Potez 631
1:1 Replica of the Potez 631, a French Heavy Fighter of the WWII.
|| Instructions below description ||
It was a Twin-engine, fully metallic, three-seater with very efficient aerodynamic lines and twin tailplanes. It's basic design allows it to perform a wide range of roles during the war.
The simple design was designed to have a pleasant flying characteristics and makes it easy to mantain.
It was armed (in this version) with 2 under-fuselage cannons, 4 forward-firing fixed machine guns, 1 flexible rear-mounted machine gun and 2 bomb racks on the wing roots, this powerful armament makes it a very harsh oponent, despite this, the plane was very slow, big and the low fuel capacity makes it useful in close range operations.
This one is painted with the schemes of the Escouade de Chasse Nocturne (Night Fighter Squadron) 1/13, Armeé de l'air de l'armistice. Pilot - Capt. Jean Treillard.

Fantastic subject ! Potez saw also war action in the Balkans in WW2. Greece had 24 of them ! You have my vote!
@RASEN1914 I think you can see it but...I'm celebrating 100 years of the R.A.F (aka: R.A.F 100)
@RASEN1914 you’ve done a lot of Japanese Planes so can you take a look at my first: the Ki.43 Hayabusa? It won’t be nearly as good as yours but it’s simple and it’s a plane, so I completed the game.
