@dhtv587 yea true they can maintain and buy more, it's more about future combat ability and the introduction of the ngad, and as said earlier it would be hard to get it to carry like 15 bombs because of its stealth design, I shouldn't have put cost into this

@dhtv587 @Verdugo it's not because it's old or weak, it's because it's expensive and hard to maintain, it can't be upgraded very much and the future 6th generation jet will replace it, also known as ngad, it can't be configured to a bomb truck like the f-15 without compromising stealth capability, so that's why the king of the skys will be retired in the 2030s

@dhtv587 the f-22 was made in a way to where it's insanely hard to upgrade and it's expensive, that's why the ngad will exist
