31.2k pavthepilot  6.4 years ago

The Me-262 was a german jet fighter developed at the end of the war

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING IT IS IMPORTANT!

CONTROLS:normal control but watch out when you land land on runway only and keep trottle to 10% until you touch the ground , don't pitch durring take off let it do it's thing it takes off by itself

How to me-262 :don't turn after your opponent your plane is not maneuvrable ,climb and get 4.0 miles away from him and dive on him

if you master this tactic the results wll be amazing

Great plane. It flys very well and has speed and a simple design. You did good.

@pavthepilot jupp. edgar schmued. the austrian born american plane designer that turned the tide in the skys over europa with a plane that was basicaly designed to take on german planes from the getgo (the p51 was most likely one of if not the most maneverable plane over europe at the time) and with the power of metric knowledge and the super power of reading german.

@pavthepilot this plane basicaly saved the USA years in development for their first usable jet fighter. the shooting star was not combat worthy when it was finished but the designer of the p51 was austrian and therefore was capable of reading the original desing documents of this plane and found at least one of the problems of the shooting star (and the bell x1).

@pavthepilot i would say that you should do another try but at best with a small kit model as a refernce in the best part. xýou dont need to be spiritus to get it better. you only need a real good comparison blueprint for the job.

@pavthepilot i think your fuselage is a bit to thin and high.

@pavthepilot it looks round but it is not round enough for a loaf of bread so to say.

@pavthepilot yes but i think the best way is a hybrid between your build and spirituss build of it. the me 262 was roughly with 60 degree angles.

@Irobert55 i kinda think the fuselage of mine was more like the me-262 and what sr did should have been THICCer
