Tsar Bomb, AKA KING OF ALL BOMBS was the Western nickname for the Soviet RDS-220 hydrogen bomb, the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created. ITs test on October 30 1961 remains the most powerful explosive ever detonated. IT was also referred to as "Kuzma's Mother" referring to FIrst Secretary Nikita Khrushchev's promise to show the United States a "Kuzma's Mother " at a 1960 session of Untited Nations General Assembly. Tsar Bomb weighed roughly 60,000 lbs, its length was 8m (26ft), and its diameter was 2.1m (6.9ft).
