4,140 Cookiewinner9  one year ago

The Fokker Dr.I, often known simply as the Fokker Triplane, was a World War I fighter aircraft built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. The Dr.I saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen gained his last 17 victories (plus two earlier ones in the Fokker F.I prototype in September 1917), and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.

Thanks to everyone in the simple planes community for helping me reach this awesome milestone, you are all AMAZING!

As you can see for this milestone i wanted to bring back my first ever build in simpleplanes, the Fokker Dr.1 which i build way before i even started posting on simpleplanes. Even tho its the oldest of my aircraft its still one of the best i build and will forever have a place in my heart.

THANK YOU SIMPLEPLANES
