Slingsby Venture G-BVKU
Slingsby T61 Venture T2
This is a replica of G-BVKU, a Slingsby Venture at my local gliding club. Now, most of you probably know me as a modder, and the first thing I want to say is no, I'm not stopping modding. The real reason behind this is that one of my current projects is a set of tools for the designer - attachment viewer/editor, decal designer, orthographic camera, blueprint comparison and perhaps more. Building a plane, and actually doing what the game was built for gave me some excellent insight into how to improve the quality of life of the hard-working builders out there.
PS: how has nobody gone mad yet? It was hard enough with the attachment editor, I simply can't imagine dealing with rogue connections without it. In fact, I probably couldn't have built the thing at all without the tools. With that in mind, I'll try and get my remaining mods out as quick as I can.
Controls:
AG1: Start Engine
AG2: Turn/Slip Gyro (does not act like a real one does, the needle just points up, but hey it's close).
Throttle, Roll, Pitch, Yaw, Trim as standard
Brake for wheel Brakes
VTOL for airbrakes/spoilers
Notes:
Range and Endurance: Simpleplanes by default has very high fuel consumption, simply because the map and the islands are so small. I think it balances the game and keeps it challenging flying with limiting fuel, but if you disagree you could always add a weightless fuel tank.
Precautions: The prop clearance is very low, so try to avoid steep banks such as the edge of a runway.

Why did the underwater mod work???
@WNP78 Hello, I have a problem. I wonder if you can help me.
@WNP78 that's great to hear!
@DerekSP yes. Oh maybe after the underwater thing. Main thing to do is add android GUI support
Are you planning to release any of the designer tools? I am especially interested in the attachment designer and the decal editor
omg. great prop' work, awesome realistic for simple planes!
What?
@sexylips35 If I did, I wouldn't be the first.
Can you make infinite zoom mod? but not in the designer?
@chancey21 yep, that's what I said in the second comment!
No I’m saying the designs are made of wings so you can’t even read them in the Designer so it’s kind of weird, I promise I’m not just trying to get on your bad side @WNP78
@chancey21 sorry, I didn't realise what you meant! I guess you're on about the with attach points in the designer. Yes, part of the designer tools has a setting to turn them off.
@chancey21 could you perhaps elaborate on what deserves to be called that or are you just here to cause annoyance?
Gosh that looks crappy in the Designer
NIce, however the panelling on the engine is a little messy.
@BACconcordepilot you were quick. I hadn't finished the tags yet.
