AVRJ-125:
The AVRJ-125 was created to answer demands from customers and potential customers who wanted a larger capacity version of the 121.
It was much longer the 121 and fairly large for a regional jet, Shortly after its announcement it already garnered many orders and after its entry into service even more orders came.
The 125 got the 'pencil' nickname due to how skinny and long it looks when looking at it from the side.
It continues serving with many airlines to this day.
