F6F "Hellcat"
32.3k CRJ900Pilot
8.1 years ago
This is my best buld by far. Just look at the enngine! TAKEOFF: 100%, vtol down, trim down. Use ruder to keep straight. If you want, decrease the turning angle in rear wheel. INFLIGHT: quite manuverable, and is armed with one boom 25 and 4 mg guns. LANDING: come it at 15-30% and the prop takes 5-10 seconds to stop. (Vtol down is for flaps FYI) On touch down, brake. Please enjoy this, and suggest future builds. Enjoy!

Here are your results:
Overall accuracy to original: 5/10
It is far too small compared to the original, but it still is very accurate. I can definitely see that this is a hellcat. It is lacking 2 machine guns from the original design though.
Handling accuracy: 3/10
This plane is incredibly hard to get off the ground, but, once in the air, it handles accurately to an actual hellcat. It's top speed is nowhere near the original. It sadly does not have the ability to become airborne off the deck of a carrier.
Roundels: 3/5
Roundels were in the correct location, although facing the wrong way. You also have postwar roundels on it, when mid to late war roundels would be accurate.
General looks: 5/5
I absolutely love the way that this plane looks, if it were not for historical inaccuracy, this plane would score very high.
Total score: 16/30 or 53%
Overall good looking plane, historical innacuracies bring the score down though. Great job!
@CRJ900Pilot OK thanks
I don't mod, but I might build a Corsair @toofast2002 @corsair013
Bro what mod are you going to make next
@CRJ900Pilot WOW! This is really cool! Maybe you could make a Corsair or Dauntless?
