Based off the Bergmann MP 18.
The Ottoman Empire's first Sub Machinegun.
After its extraordinary performance as part of the Sturmtruppens Trench Raiding set.
Theodore Bergmann was then tasked for creating one for the Ottoman Empire specifically.
Eventually resulting in a weapon of choice for the Ottoman Soldiers. It was unfortunately quite heavy (4KG Fully Loaded).
Considered as the world's first submachine gun (despite not being it).

It fires a 7.63x25MM Mauser Round in its drum magazine. With an Astonishing 500 Round per minute fire rate for a weapon at its time. And a Bullet Velocity of 380 Meters per second.

Perfect for eliminating enemy soldiers.

Well, the MP-18 evolved into the MP-28. Many features from the MP-28, such as its open-bolt nature and double-stack single-feed magazine, made it to the MP-38, but the MP-38 is a very different beast from the MP-28. The MP-38 was almost completely made of stamped and machined parts, where the MP-28 features a wooden stock. The MP-40 was an upgrade and simplification of the MP-38. Interestingly, there is a version known as the MP-41, which is basically an MP-40 with the furniture of the MP-28. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

@Pilotmario Interestingly enough. The MP-40 Evolved into what it was from a series of different variations of the MP-18 LOL

    I know that.

And the original design with the 20-round box magazine was implemented postwar as the MP 28.

The MP 18 used a 32-round drum magazine used on the Luger carbine. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

@Pilotmario but this is an actual gun...
And the Box Magazine was implemented during WW2.

We've phased them out for the MP-20. The MP-20 is more reliable due to its simpler box magazine.
