Developed during wartime and produced in large numbers with over 23,000 units rolled out. Mostly deployed in swarms from larger air bases to frustrate and counter enemy activities. Most pilots assigned to this aircraft found it easy to fly with moderate performance in most areas but were basterdized by fellow pilots assigned to broader and more capable weapons systems.
