The FE-188X1 is an army based heavy fighter jet. The new discovery of the jet engine started a rush to create a jet-powered fighter for the military. One entry was the FE-188X1. It caught favor for using parts and planes already in military hands. The jet itself was low quality. The metal was weak and the engines had faults. A major flaw was in the wing mounting braket. Any manuvre attempt over 920 mph caused one of the wings to tear from the body. The FE-188 pilots, whos favorite tactic was coming down from above, quickly noticed.
