Project 8121
While not as futuristic looking as the rest of my Projects, Project 8121 is still a pioneer of new technologies for my use.
This is my first build with weapons bays, and it has four of them. two in the fuselage, and one in each wing
That's right. Wing. Weapons. Bays.
It has the ability to carry 16 missiles in those bays, but theoretically it could carry more if there were exterior pylons.
The weapons are not interchangeable, as the functions to open the bay doors require a specific weapon name. (if you have any loadout ideas let me know and I'll make it happen.) It is armed with four MSLs, a load of 6AAMs, and a load of XAGMs, and a 20mm autocannon. The 6AAM and XAGM weapons fire in a burst, so you effectively get one shot.
On the topic of weapons, in the version prior to this final version, I had the 6 6AAM missiles in the wing bays, with two in a center bay, accompanying the XAGMs. However, I decided to make the load more simple and put all the 6AAMs together, as well as the XAGMs.
Keep in mind, this plane is a bit slower than my other "project" planes, being single engine, but it is about on par with many other fifth generation planes.
The maneuverability, again, unlike the rest of my project planes, is actually realistic, so no 12G maneuvers for you.
This plane, like my other project planes, has a modeled cockpit! And this time, it is fully fleshed out, instead of clipping into the plane's fuselage. It has a variety of dials, arranged nice and neat, as well as three multi-purpose displays (not functional in game), which in narrative can display various data (airspeed, altitude, etc.), radar display, damage analyses, weapons loadout, mission objectives, etc.
I couldn't make the cockpit open without looking weird, but I made up for it by making the glass more transparent, so you can see the beautiful interior.
Yes, that is the same pilot model as the one on Projects 8117 and 8120.
Another thing to note is the split ailerons. Since the wing was c h o n k, I had to make split ailerons because a single piece would look strange.
I also added an auto-extending flap system. It automatically lowers or raises at about 300 mph, but if needed could be manually controlled by the VTOL slider.
As for the paint, I want with boring grey, and to be honest I really wanted to do something paint-wise but I didn't have any ideas.
I also built in a taxi mode which allows for greater control on the ground, complete with forward, backward an steering movements. The main engines are switched off as to avoid unwanted takeoffs. It's toggled by AG5.
So, this is Project 8121, a massive leap forward in terms of building and tech, introducing a good cockpit, weapons bays, a taxi mode, and advanced fuselage design.
It was a blast building this plane and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
This is probably the last build I'm going to do for a while. I need to straighten life issues out

@Griffon1 Yup. That was me. Thanks alot, man
@ShinyGemsBro you asked to be tagged?
@Noname918181 Much chonk
Those are some thicc wings
This is really nice
Nice!
Oooooohh ma boi did the thrust vectoring!!!
Nice, but I would add the weapons bays into the fuselage. But anyways pretty neat build which deserves more attention. I wish I could spotlight @Griffon1Crosswind
@DJ2keroni I agree, but I had to fit weapons bays in there.
Looks good, but I think the wings are too thicc
first!
