F-12 Craven

Another important piece of the military’s arsenal was the Craven. An impressive multi-role aircraft rid of all the flaws of earlier Arrow Inc. aircraft, with fighter-bomber capabilities as well as CAS or Close Air Support abilities. It’s relatively high performance helped it in a dogfight as well as it’s improved stability versus highly advanced models such as the Dualtrail. More impressively was the option for the pilot to jettison the pylon mounted miniguns via the 1st action group in order to lose weight and gain a marginal boost in speed and agility during a dogfight if the pilot so wished. The Craven also had a respectable climb rate and could perform CAS tasks by executing a dive at speeds exeeding 500 miles an hour and firing upon targets with the miniguns of .50 caliber, or dropping a 250 pound bomb. The airplane quickly gained a reputation of ferosity and reliability in battle, and was well liked by the pilots who flew it. As always, good luck pilots!
