The V-80 Meteor was a plane developed by Orion Aeronautics during 1943-45. They were originally planned to be used only in the Pacific War, but as the Axis powers were beginning to be crumbled, more planes could be spared. Therefore the Meteor was used as a quick-response craft. If there was shipping under attack, send a Meteor. Too short of escorts for a bombing raid? Send a Meteor. It's pilots were some of the most respected of the allies, for their ability to swoop in and save the day.
It's slogan was 'Whatever you need, the Meteor's got you covered.'
No fancy controls. Just fly normally.
Thanks to MrMelanchology for helping me make this plane.
