Functional Semi-Automatic Rifle
Hello all, this is Snow back. As I’ve been teasing you guys, this is a new, innovative and in my opinion, revolutionary method of creating firearms and artillery type weapons.
Today I bring you guys the cumulative product of my experiment with the impactForce attribute on the guns available in SimplePlanes. When initially experimenting with this idea I started out to make an artillery piece, but with the ways the build it went to become the most realistic firearm I ever made.
Many thanks to the people involved in beta testing of the build: EliteArsenals24, randomusername, Aeromen, BlueCitrus, jamesPLANESii, OrangeBoardEnterprise, IzzyIA, and last but not least, Mmdben, who is an absolute champ who sat through 150 continued retries to give me critical data.
On to the build content.
Main features & Mechanism
- A completely realistic semi-automatic rifle, with a detachable magazine containing four rounds total. When fired, the bolt moves back, letting the next round in the magazine load into the chamber. The bolt then pushes forward, loading the round into the breech, and is then prepared for a shot. All projectiles are B25’s. By the way the magazine technically is detachable (is separate from the gun so if you so wish, you may load extra magazines (link to them))
Details
- Bolt pulling back & Smoke from the shot
- The magazine feeding system (bolt pullback visible)
- Muzzle Flash
- Accuracy
Instructions of Operation (ONLY HIGH PHYSICS RECOMMENDED)
After you load it in the world, follow the manual:

Have fun with this one-

Hopefully I got everyone on the teaser post!

hey @SnoWFLakE0s can me you and @SpiritusRaptor make the belt fed and drum mag Blowback Gun i am making a v2 now for Blowback Gun - Bottom fed Mag v1.0 so can we work on it.
Ya, thanks! @SnoWFLakE0s
Edit: it ended up being the wrong size and it didn’t really work out.
Still thanks though
@Natedog120705 Please go ahead! Just credit me if you do use it.
Hey, for my next build, can I use the gun at the end of this post please? I can’t xml mod so I can’t do it myself. @SnoWFLakE0s
Ok thanks, I am gonna do a lot!@SnoWFLakE0s
@Natedog120705 Great! That's cool. I did some research to get this to work, :D
Will look forward to what you post!
Bro this is awesome! It’s actually super accurate. For someone who really likes guns and hunting in real life I really like how this has some of the actual like real ness.
This is the next step to being closer to real life stuff. At least a little.
It starts with replicas, building what the thing looks like similarily, and sometimes includes a little bit of how it works. Like the first post on SP was built to sort of to look like the actual plane, but it worked sort of like it too. Now with gun replicas, they nowadays look really similar and work a little like the real ones. With this, now they are closer to working like real guns.
I was gonna post something similar to this, but I never got to it.
This has inspired me to complete the build, and I will eventually post it.
@DarDragon Photoshop! Check my profile for more! :D
@SnoWFLakE0s How do you make those blueprints???
@X4JB haha sure
Amazing!
I'm glad to see that you got it to work out.
Man maybe I should try to get my prototype working sense with the new DesignerSuite mod that makes a million times easier to make custom weapons.
Why was i tagged?
Np! @SnoWFLakE0s
@DeidaraEnterprises Thanks! I took the entire week to make this haha.
Totally deserves more upvotes, excellent work!
@BlackhattAircraft Thanks!
Nice @SnoWFLakE0s
@EliteArsenals24 Thank you!
@PINGASMACHINE Will look into that! I'm looking for ways to apply this gas mechanism. That sounds interesting- what's so special about it?
Just looked into it. The gastrap 1930s version is currently impossible to replicate in SP (we don't have screws) but a similar design can be acheived. The clip system will take some research, though.
Very cool!
I wonder if some madlad will figure out how to make a gas mechanism like the M1 Garand
Love the blueprint and the manual.
@IzzyIA Thank you!
Geez you sure put some time into this. I love the manual and blueprint. Good job!
Hopefully that's everyone!
