The Boeing 767 is a mid to large, long range, wide body twin engine jet aircraft developed by Boeing in the United States to compete with the Airbus A300 and A310. It is Boeing's first aircraft with a two seater glass cockpit. The cockpit design of the Boeing 757 and 767 is also the same, making it easy for the crew and maintenance personnel to master both types of aircraft simultaneously. The 767 and 757 were the first two person controlled cockpits in Boeing commercial aircraft, and were also the first to use electronic flight instruments in Boeing passenger planes.
