The XM-20 Falcon Is an experimental Medium Supersonic Bomber built in the 1970's. The XM-20 was built as a bomber designed to bomb enemy Air Bases and Tank Platoons. It had the capacity of 12 1-Kiloton nuclear warheads or for bombing smaller targets 12 500lb bombs. The XM-20 only had bombs as weapons so it was very vulnerable to being shot by a missile or a gun, so if it did have to bomb something the plane would be escorted by 2 fighters who were capable of shooting down enemy interceptors and fighters. It was eventually put out of service in 1992 because of its vulnerability and service cost.
