@Pianoman Super cool!!!!
I made one too, a few months back.....It was NOT as cool as this one though...
@Mumpsy
I uploaded the basic structure of the flyable mecha I always make, so please check it out!
Framework of flyable mecha
When I make a flyable mecha, I do not do special things and use magic items, other than using "Force".
Only kidding,First, Use the VTOL engine as the main engine, and place the nozzle on the chest, back, and legs.
It is orange.
Next, put a joint on the feet with rotator, and linking pictch and roll with it.
Blue ones are linked with pitch, green ones are linked with roll.
In addition, in order to move the center of mass toward the head, put the weight on the head.
It is red.
After that, try strengthening the output of the engine if necessary, stabilize by adding nozzles to the parts that are thought to be necessary by flying.
If the pitch doesn't work well, put nozzles around the waist or under the armpit linked to the pitch.
This will change the angle of rotation if necessary.
It is purple. This time it is set to 45 degrees.
If it is unstable, implant wings on its back or legs, or implant vertical wings in its buttocks.
Recently, I implant a simple gyro to stabilize it.
It is also simple in structure, placing a single cylindrical material in the center, placing a permanent rotator with higher speed to the top and the bottom, and placing smaller cylindrical material next to it.
It is pink. Place this in a location neer by the center of mass.
If you are going to make something flyable mecha, I will be very happy to see it.
May the Force be with you!!
Flying feel great, pilot perspective makes me feel immersive.
@Pianoman np!👍
@Mumpsy
Thank you!
I completed downloading.
I appreciate it so much!!
@Pianoman I uploaded it. Have fun!
@Mumpsy
Thank you for the valuable advice and it is really helpful.
I will try controlling the mass based on your advice.
I would be sososososo glad if you can upload it.
Anyway thank you again for helping me :)
@Mumpsy np
@MAHADI @rubbishcraft @Maxwell Thanks!
@Pianoman Btw! I should be asking you how you make functional flying builds! You make robots fly!!! B'b
@Pianoman Thanks bud. Secrets? Probably the biggest is low mass shapeable fuselage pieces and unbendable wings. The low mass fuselage let's you keep weight low. But you do have to add pieces that have regular mass in the front or back to balance out your center of mass. The unbendable wings are also very helpful. These allow you to "flesh out" or add detail to your wings without letting the wings move around while the fuselage pieces don't. Also the unbendable wings let you make multiple piece wings which won't start separating under high-speed flight. Using these two items and getting your center of mass and center of lift in the right spot (center of mass in front of the center of lift) which takes a little tweaking sometimes. This airplane has both unbendable wings and low mass fuselage if you want to put them in you subassemblies. Just make sure you grab a fuselage piece from the middle. The pieces toward the front are regular fuselage for balancing purposes. I can also upload a set with different thickness wing parts if you would like. Let me know. ;D
BTW, Your works always have very good operability, is there any secret?
Wow great stuff and Congrats for being featured!!
It's even more exciting in fly-by view.
Nananananananananananananananana BATMAN!
Nice
@rubbishcraft Thanks for the spotlight! Glad you liked it.
Excellent!
@Sarpanitu BATMAN : I want all of them in black...
AWESOME, very much better than mine...
@Sarpanitu I wanted to build something worthy of your 5th gen cockpit. Hope you like it!
@Treadmill103 Thanks! Glad you like it. If you fly straight up and then hit the brakes and yaw left or right you can redo the "stall in front of the moon scene" from the movie.
