The MH-6 Little Bird (or AH-6) is an attack and transport helicopter used primarily for United States Army special operations. Originally based on a modified version of the OH-6A, it was later based on the MD 500E version, with a five-blade rotor. The most modern version, the MH-6M, was based on the MD 530F and has a six-blade main rotor. The first time he was sent abroad on a mission was during the Iran Hostage Crisis, but he never saw combat. But it saw significant action in the Invasion of Grenada (1983) and Panama (1989), the Battle of Mogadishu (1993) and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
