My best performing ground attack plane.
AG-1 - .50 cal BS machine guns
AG-2 - 37mm NS-37 cannon
History:
The TsKB-60AM-38 was a planned improved Shturmovik proposed in 1944. History is very hard to find as most sources mention it as, “An Il-2 with twin engines.” Development was stopped in late 1944, as the Ilyushin Il-10 was chosen instead. It used two of the same engines as the Il-2; the Mikulin AM-38. Intended armament was one 37mm NS-37 cannon in the forward fuselage, and above this were four .50 cal BS machine guns. Provision was made for three bombs under the fuselage, and six RS-82 rockets under the outer wings. This plane did not get past the drawing board.
