It's not the fact I or the Teutons are short on oil, it's the mutual blockade of the island. The Paternian Navy prevents Teuton surface shipping from reaching them, while the submarines of the Kaiserliche Teuton make it dangerous for our transports to reach the island without heavy escort. On either side, it is a huge effort getting supplies to the island, mostly from the air. They use heavily-armed Zeppelins, and we use STOL cargo planes. @Gmanndo1000

Resistance is still extremely heavy. It's a virtual stalemate with the fuel shortage on either side. Trenches have been dug, night raids done, etc. Its like the First War all over again. @Gmanndo1000
