Press 1 for lights and press 7 to activate main engine. To vertically takeoff and land: Move STOVL and trim (trim isnt nessasery) all the way down, go to full power and you should start taking off. You may need to pull down a little bit to stay level. Once high enough move the trim and STOVL to the default position then press 7. Make sure to put the gear up. To land, bring power to 0, then deactivate 7 then bring the power to about 95 then move the STOVL (and trim) all the wzy down move to 99 to 98 power and it should start descending, you may need to increase or decrease the throttle depending on wether you are going up or down. Lower the gear if you havent. You should be good from there. Use the rudder to turn in STOVL mode. To deactive STOVL engines, press 8.
