SMC Aerospace RSD.1 Nemesis

40.2k Typhoon03  5.3 years ago

In 2019 SMC Industries technicians took an MQ2 Scout into the hangers. After two months of work it reappeared as a multirole attack drone, the Nemesis. It boasts a Mach 1.5 top speed, advanced data links, two Stinger missiles, four MCMAL missiles, a focused high-velocity cannon and improved range and stealth.

It was quickly adopted by the Saltwater Air Force as its primary scout/attack drone, with 950 units built. It can be either catapult or conventionally launched and is small enough to be stacked up on racks with other drones for storage.

Each Saltwater Navy destroyer carries up to two drones, one on frigates, four to five for the aircraft cruisers and up to 140 on the République-class aircraft carriers when they are carrying no other aircraft (24 standard). The drones cost $1.5 million each.

AG1 arms the missiles.
AG2 activates the lights.
Credit must be given to Tully2001 for the original drone, small but perfectly formed.
