Brief description and lore:

A close air support aircraft designed specifically to engage both waterborne and land-based targets. Air Brakes & Flaps
The hydrostrom's airbrakes only fully deploy when there is no armament mounted under the wings, same with the flaps. When armament is mounted under the wings, only the airbrakes on the top-side of the wing will be functional. When the inner section of the wing is free of armament, the inner wing airbrakes/flaps will then be functional, same for the outer section of the wing.
