With cockpit of @mohammed. The Lockheed Martin A-12 prototype was built as a Mach 3+ fighter for the USAF, rumored to be faster than the follow-on SR-71. Requires a long concrete runway, will liftoff by itself before the runway end is reached. Be easy on pitch at first, but strong pitch is need at 3,300+ mph at 89,000 feet, level.

50.4k StingrayThanky you @nickasaurusrex Note, FYI the A-12 platform is different from the SR-71, shorter nose + more lift + more acceleration.9.2 years ago

50.4k Stingray@Exumer Please see my updated pitch control description. Note, I've found hundreds of "SR-71s" on SP, none that fly level 3,300 mph.9.2 years ago

50.4k Stingray@Exumer OK with medium pitch input I can easily flip this model, also. Requires minimal, light, touches to pitch. Roll should be normal. Speed, level is about 3,000 mph. This is a test of the new SP release, and this is.the fastest (not the most stable at takeoff, though) Lockheed model I could do on short notice.9.2 years ago
