The heavy fighter variant of the P-6. Carries two underwing weapon pods with rockets, and two underwing weapon pods with miniguns. Also mounts six wing guns and three GAU-8 Avengers under the center fuselage.
Although the heavy fighter concept never really worked, the P-6HF made its mark by breaking up bomber formations using the rocket pods, then tearing the bombers apart with the overwhelming firepower from the guns.
