Auto Credit Based on Moonlight810's Curtiss C-46A Commando
An unbuilt version of the curtiss C-46 commando, it would have upgraded the 2,100 horsepower pratt whittney R-2800 piston engines, with 3,700 hosepower wright duplex cyclone piston engines, the same ones that powered the boeing b29 super fortress bomber. It would have also added the same guns as the AC-47. but, instead the AC-47 “spooky” was ordered, and the AC-46 fell into the history books.
