F5N-4 Falchion
The F5N-4 Falchion was the last in a line of rather unsuccessful naval aircraft made by the NJB company, being finished in 1978 and almost immediately costing the company millions of dollars from the lack of orders or interest by the US and other NATO allies. With Grummans F-14 already being in service with the USN, the Falchion filled a role that was already taken, and by a more capable aircraft.
With that said, the F5N-4 was no slouch, carrying an assortment of modern weapons and flight performance to employ them. This selection includes four AIM-9L Sidewinders, two AIM-7F Sparrows, and two AIM-54C Phoenixes, along with the obligatory M61 Vulcan gatling gun.
The aircraft did have a very short service life, with only 14 aircraft being delivered to VF-191, and not being able to outdo the Tomcat, was pushed out of service and into obscurity, with all examples scrapped through the 80’s.
This entire “history” is fictional, and is just meant to give context to the design. The basic controls can be found in the in game instruction.
Side note: Have had this almost done for around 7 months, just not enough to post it and started to burn out, so now its here. Probably won’t do another in this line of fictional aircraft by this company since its getting to modern, but may add aircraft earlier, maybe around the 30’s.

@nathan8urns Okay, I Grok! I grew up with an industrial swamp cooler my dad installed in his (non-)mobile-home. I grew up in red neck N. Cali. Lots of duct tape and bailing wire in my past.
@Kerbango Sorry about the confusion, where I'm from “window shaker” is just a slang for the AC units that you stick in your window. A friend had his home AC go out so my dad and I took a standup for the living room and the shaker for his bedroom, and he returned them today so back to the shed the shaker goes.
Plen
ok, cool.
but..."move a window shaker to the shed" needs more explanation.
or is that an euphemism?
@Kerbango Just got it done, was going to be faster but had to go move a window shaker to the shed as it was uploading so lost some time.
Dude, you have got some talent in building. You should take some time and update the descriptions here on the website.
Since SP is technically a single player game, we SPers made the website as the scoreboard/social media part of the game we all love.
