The Jh-13 was a Chinese experimental two-engine fighter interceptor designed in the 1960s. It was inspired by the Swedish Saab 35 Draken, and was intended to be a high-altitude, high-speed interceptor capable of defending China against Soviet bombers.
The Jh-13 was powered by two bf150 turbojet engines, which gave it a top speed of Mach 1.5. It was armed with a single 30mm cannon in the nose, and could carry a variety of air-to-air missiles on four hardpoints.
The Jh-13 was only built in a small number of prototypes, and it never entered production. However, it was an important step in the development of Chinese fighter aircraft, and its design influenced the later J-10 fighter.
