At the twilight hour of the Cold War, in the year 1987, the nations of Britain and France signed a deal to develop and manufacture a nuclear-capable supersonic strike bomber the likes of which the world had never seen before or since in order to replace their ageing fleets of Avro Vulcans and Dassault Mirage IVs, respectively.
Project Toucan was initiated on the 26th of January, 1987 and a deal was signed between British Aerospace and Dassault Aviation in order to procure 47 units of the aircraft for the United Kingdom and 42 units for France, with the respective models being manufactured and outfitted within the countries they were meant to serve in.
The BA-Dassault Toucan first took flight on 31st March, 1988 and was projected to be ready for service by the year 1991. However, numerous financial disagreements between the two European giants caused the project to be delayed indefinitely. The end of the cold war, marked by the dissolution of the Soviet Union on the 26th of December, 1991, caused the project to be derailed entirely as the two nations didn't see the necessity to continue to finance the project and presumed the threat eliminated.
20 years later, BAE Systems and the British Government partly declassified Project Toucan and constructed a singular tech demonstrator in order to showcase what could've been probably the most capable strike bomber of its time.
Enjoy.

@MAHADI hmmmm, ur right tho :)
@ALRX I would have given 10/10 but it turns too fast at high speed, risking a detonation by impact
@DarthAbhinav True
