FL-20 Shava

An example from the airbase at Hamhung, this is the latest development in the FL series. Despite being less functional when under AI control, this plane now surpasses almost all other planes in manuverability, electronic capabilities, and sheer ease of flight.
With better radar than almost al other FLs, new fuel probes, and a turn rate of 72 degrees a second.....this plane is a very effective fighter.
-Also, it has a innovative design....those are normal size control surfaces.....and the COM/COl are extremely close, thank the weird wings.

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These planes are normally flown in tandem with much faster planes, normally two FL-20s to every three FL-21s . . . a much faster airframe. The FL-21s are more comparable to the Viper.
You're welcome. However, the type has incredible fuel consumption and the engine technology is dated compared to current models of the Viper, Renegade II, and Dart. We still find the Viper superior in a dogfight, as the Viper is a faster machine with greater acceleration. Therefore, the Viper can choose if and when to fight. If a flight of Vipers runs into a squadron of Shava and the CO doesn't like the odds, then they can simply turn around and run. If the CO likes the challenge, he can take his flight to higher altitudes and engage in boom and zoom tactics. The only thing the Shava can do is react and turn into the Vipers in order to force them to miss and overshoot. Which it can do well.
If a flight of Shavas run into a squadron of Vipers, their best bet is to fly defensively in maneuvers such as the Thatch Weave or a defensive circle, where a Viper is suckered into slotting behind the tail of a Slava, placing themselves in front of the guns of the another Slava. Or the whole flight gets slaughtered by long-range missiles and coordinated boom and zoom attacks. @PINK
Now you see why it is so useful, and doesn't need replaced. Thanks. @Pilotmario
Lovely machine! Compares well to my Viper. Viper definitely has the energy and speed advantage, but this has the maneuverability advantage.
Found it!
Thanks @FlyHigher
It works @Viper28
I find it strange, very modern front but the tail takes a turn to prop fighters, interesting.
Thanks @General360
Thanks @TrashFam
Great plane!
