DS-450 Drop Ship
When humanity started to spread out into the galaxy, a small wheeled rover was developed to explore the thousands of new planets now at humanity's disposal. The problem was how to get the rover to a planet's surface easily without the problems of the the early Mars rovers. The solution was the DS-450 Drop Ship; a vertical take off space craft that could fly through hyperspace to the destination planets, land, drop the rover off, the return to Earth. Weapons were added both to the rover and the drop ship just in case they met any hostile aliens. Group 1 drops the rover, Group 2 activates the Drop Ship's VTOL engines, Group 3 activates the rover's' engine and guns and Group 4 activates the Drop Ship's weapons. To use the rover, land the Drop Ship and drop the rover. Take the drop ship off vertically and flt it slightly forward and land it. Deactivate the Drop Ship's engines, switch to one of the rover cameras and Actiivate group 3. Roll steers the rover whilst Pitch controls the engine.
