History

The F-15A Eagle was developed by the USAF in the aftermath of the Vietnam War, following the need for a more agile air superiority fighter. Initially conceived as part of the F-X program, its development was accelerated in response to the threat posed by the Soviet MiG-25. The F-15 combined superior speed, maneuverability, and firepower, quickly becoming the U.S. Air Force’s dominant air-to-air fighter.

The F-15’s legacy is unmatched, with a 103-0 kill-to-loss ratio, making it one of the most successful combat aircraft in history. Its armament includes 4x AIM-9M "Sidewinder" missiles, 4x AIM-7M "Sparrow" missiles, and 2x Mark 84 bombs, offering versatility in air-to-air and air-to-ground combat.
