Activation groups:
AG1: Parachutes
AG2: Auxiliary engines. Cut throttle then disable AG2 to deactivate.
AG3-8: Unassigned

Aircraft Information:
A mid-size racing and aerobatics aircraft. Design principle is not different from previous aircraft: agility and speed without sacrificing too much fuel capacity, in that order of priority. Agility was fulfilled quite well, but speed was a bit lacking.

The difficulty was that adding more engines would make the aircraft run through its fuel capacity too quickly, and increasing fuel load would impact agility.

The solution I came up with was adding auxiliary engines, and allow them to be activated at will depending on the situation - when efficiency is thrown out the window, they can be activated to significantly boost the aircraft's speed while making it much less fuel-efficient, and when things get more relaxed, such as non-race cruises, they can be deactivated to significantly improve the aircraft's fuel economy. I believe this turned out very well and allowed the aircraft to fulfill all of its design criteria while at the same time looking quite pretty.

The aircraft comes with exactly 1000 gal of fuel. If agility is more important than endurance, remove the fuel in the wings and/or half of the main fuselage tank, and the aircraft will become noticeably faster and more nimble. Keep in mind that the aircraft will run through its supply very quickly in this configuration. Adjust according to requirements - agility will be worth nothing if you can't even finish the race.

True to the tradition of the DMJ family, this aircraft has a modified fighter variant available here -> https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/a4Kx83/DMJ-16F-Falcon

Differences from fighter:
-Main wings are thinner.
-Comes with canards
-Has smaller elevators
-Has a larger fuel capacity
-Has no lights

Enjoy!
