Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird Mach 4

Runway at Tarpley or Murphy. Normal takeoff, gear up, ACT=1 Engage Ramjets. 3,000 mph at 80,000 feet -- 4,100+ mph at 100,000 feet. The official level flight altitude for the SR-71 was reportedly over 85,000 feet. The Blackbird constantly, and slowly, accelerated to higher speeds. Much like this simple SP model. Easy to fly, enjoy!

I've been working on my own model, to near exact scale, but the wings are too weak to support the engines on my plane. I absolutely love your model. Great job!

Good idea, still in the process of re-loading everything I used to have on my desktop and Andriod -- wiped out by latest SP upgrade. @Delphinus

Thanks, will do. I intend to re-shape the wings on this, anyway, this was my first post of the "flying gas tank' SR71. @LordofLego

You should take a look at my model. My wings and landing gear are more realistic, but your body is more realistic and yours is easier to fly.

Idk. Maybe I'll post a toolbox like others have, since I still have several (unposted) subassemblies in my iOS iPad Air. Nobody has requested this, I'm a low-profile user. BTW, formerly also built real titanium aircraft/engines/avionics in the real world. Just gotta some interesting fuel+engine tidbits that many other seemed to have missed. Would this help? @Delphinus

Okay, but subassemblies of the engine (Ramjet Mode ACT=1) may help out some of your builds. @Delphinus

Okay by me, but likely only the fuselage is reusable. I' certainly like to re-build better wings. (Of course a single overclocked VTOL would double the speed, I decided agaist that) @Delphinus

@Viper28 I'm with you there! Models that work, not plastic ones that sit on shelves.

Don't get me wrong i like the plane i just ment it was good, eveyone seems to think great planes need to be perfect and be 100% of what the real deal would be, but this is all i need :). @Stingray

@Viper28 Thanks, and not intended to be a pure replica, but a fast smooth model with the latest SP fuselage blocks.and functional chines, and ram engines.

While it's no replica it's nice and simple. Everyone needs some simple now and again
