Auto Credit Based on Alix451's M97A6 MkII (120) Scorpion
The M97 was the first model of the Scorpion, introduced in 1984. It boasts composite armor, good mobility, a reliable engine, good ergonomics and crew comfort as well as a powerful gun. This M97 was the first made, and was issued to 1st Battalion, 16th Armored, at that time exercising in the deserts of Texas. Changes from the E4 include removal of the muzzle brake, repositioning of the crew, and a few internal changes. This vehicle is comparable\equal to the Paternian M5A4 Victoria. It has taken the place of the Ardent as the main MBT of the Cuban Army and put the Ardent in a supporting/secondary MBT, as the Ardent was the workhorse of the Cuban Army since the 50s.
