B-19

14.4k Avro683Lancaster  9.1 years ago

This is the 14th aircraft of the B- designation, the first being the B-5, from the XB-5, the fifth in experimental bombers. This is a very good airframe, and has been fitted with rotary bomb (holders) (I can't remember what they are called), a conventional bombbay, or this, the Martin rotating bombbay, as used on the B-57 Canberra and the XB-51. The bombs are released in two ways, individually, for carpet bombing, or all at once, with AG-1. VTOL all up or down, the bay is closed at VTOL half (0 degrees). AG-2 or indvidually for the Interceptors, and AG-3 or individually for the Infernos
