Precious metal is finaly polished (Thanks Delphinus!) . it will go well over 500mph on 2 unmodded 1,000hp engines. I've seen as fast as 690 level flight @ 20K ft altitude
Take off at 30% throttle and land dead stick with full flaps (VTOL slider), best to touch down somewhere under 100mph and pulse the brakes lightly to stop. yes it's high maintenance but its FAST! (for a prop plane)
The real precious metal is a Reno air race plane with a 3200 hp Griffin motor and contra-rotating 6 bladed prop. It's based on a p-51 but is massively modified.
