I first learned the word "Failsafe" in an episode of seconds from disaster, then on a newspaper, and rest was history.
Like in mayday episodes, American airlines McDonnell Douglas DouglasCommercial-10 Flight 96 when it's cargo door bursts open (it was the first DC-10 flight), followed by Turkish Airlines flight 981 and the detachment of the left engine by American Airlines Flight 191 DC-10, failsafe is like fail proof, or fool proof but much better. Episodes: AM96, Part 2, and part 3 TH981. American Flight 191. You can read the word failsafe here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fail-safe&ved=2ahUKEwj-jILgyKv1AhWTfd4KHYkUDjoQFnoECCsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw34c5WiS1-VL97x4JblSFiO
@AirCrashInvestigationFLR I know...i know im gonna sound pretty stupid but... What is a failsafe?
I should definitely know it,I love aviation since I was a kid but never studied the more complex things... And I know failsafe doesn't have to do with aviation (I think) oh well, silly me.
You can also improve it to make a failsafe design:
part: Hinge
Funky Tree XML:
inputcontroller/
input | clamp01(AltitudeAgl>10)
activationGroup |:
What activation group do you want it to trigger once pressed (1-8)
Example.
activationGroup | 2
Great, what is its name?
