Alouette

2,832 mregger  8.9 years ago

This is a bird shaped glider. The flapping wings allow it to gain speed without needing an engine, and also controll the pitch. Pich up and down to flap the wings, and to controll the pitch of the Alouette. Note, that when the wings are fully up, it looses a bit of lift, so if you want to climb, don't go full pitch up. Its top speed is of 200mph, stall speed is about 50mph, and best glide speed is at about 120mph. It does not have landing gears, but if you approach slowly (60mph), it can land on water. Take off is possible from water, but very tricky, try to move the wings as less as possible, and keep them up as much as possible. Eventually the Alouette will gain enough speed to lift up, and then you will be able to climb.
