Project Hoverturn
Ever since the gyroscope came out, I have been trying to come up with new concepts. The idea here is to have a plane that can fly in stationary mode as well as in standard configuration. As a result you can also fly in new configurations, like with the whole fuselage tilted but horizontal control surfaces and engines.
I thought these features would make an excellent ground attack plane. Which it is to some extend but it difficult to stabilize and control the yaw in stationary flight. I did manage to take out some targets this way but it ain't easy.
Use 20 to 35% thrust to hover (depending on fuel level). VTOL controls engine and wings incline, Pitch Roll and Yaw can be controlled via the gyroscope. If you want use the standard plane configuration, I advise de-activating the AG8 which is linked to wing/engine rotation and the gyroscope. AG1 controls the lights.
