Yuan Hsu "Zhihang" Fighter
[AG8 for gyroscope and air brakes, this serves as the braking system because without it the aircraft is very difficult to land.]
A jet fighter introduced in 1953 based on the design doctrine of the American-made Tri-Wing, which was introduced almost two years prior. Due to its slow acceleration that equates to a slow speed most of the time (500-600mph, whereas 600-800mph is considered to be average for jets of this period). However, it is very manueverable as opposed to the Tri-Wing, German-made Alfons, and Russian-made MiG-Z. It is complimented with 6x 12.7mm machine guns. On top of this, it cannot be detected by any outdated anti-aircraft radar system, making it perfect for attacking third world countries and the communist People's Republic of China to the north of the nationalist Chinese Republic, assuming you were to do so from 1949-1955, from the start of WW3 to the point where the communists have replaced most of their radars. Back to history. In 1954, this aircraft replaced the Alfons as the German Federation's main fighter-interceptor, but was rejected by the Americans who had developed the P-65A4B. Despite the Americans rejecting it as their fighter, they did accept it as their long range interceptor, as did every other member of the Alliance of Independent Democracies, due to its very low fuel consumption from its unique engine that is seeing itself replacing various existing engines on other aircraft.
