Aurora Borealis
A build that uses massive colored jet engine exhausts to simulate the Aurora borealis effect at over 10 miles altitude. It's spawned as an AI and can be seen from multiple islands. Many auroras can be spawned for a better effect. The aurora is pretty unstable when it first spawns and it takes a few minutes for it to take shape.
Spawn it as an AI at an above ground location like a final approach. When it reaches just over 10 miles up pink and green engines for exhaust and pistons to spread them apart activate. It likes to hover around 12 miles up in the air. I couldn't put it up much higher because there is a set limit for how far engine exhaust can be rendered.
I used a lot of pistons and rotators to get a natural looking waving effect so this build is really loud. Even at over 10 miles in the air the pistons and rotators can be heard like they are right next to you. The volume goes down after about 14 seconds after it activates but there is a constant low drone I don't know how to fix.
I also don't think its possible to make it only activate at night so it still works in the day. Also it renders below clouds so the weather needs to be clear to make it realistic.
15 minute time-lapse of one aurora over Snowstone, it takes a few minutes to stop wobbling and take shape.

@EnesCelik66 how?
Broken
@Steve12315 unfortunately no without getting rid of the waving motion
It makes a loud hydraulic noise is there a way to fix it?
The Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?
if you see this, that means earth is protecting us from solar storms
I know it's a lot to ask for but can you make this bigger

@WNP78
This is genuinely one of the more incredible non-vehicle things I think I've ever seen here, absolutely stunning work here! What an amazing way to exploit game mechanics and seemingly nonexistent limitations, I love this so much
Screenshots bouta go hard with this❗❗❗
@AndrewGarrison so, uh, what kind of game is this again?
Whar
I have 1 question... HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?
