This display model of the U.S.S. Enterprise(NCC-1701) is dedicated to Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek fame. Nimoy passed away Feb. 27th, 2015. He played Spock and was a key part of turning Star Trek into an important cultural icon. He will be missed.... LLAP.
Note: this is only a display version. It does not actually fly. A flying version is being looked into, but several CoM/CoL/CoT issues need to be solved before that happens. Also, before anyone starts griping: Yes, I know there are some inconsistencies. I am not a perfect builder, and I did what I could with the tools I had available. So please forgive me if some colors are off or odd looking, or I missed (insert detail here).
