AR-15 as used by Unity Defense Corporation contractors. While the standard Paternian military M4 is an excellent weapon system, it was seen as less than satisfactory for UDC use for three features demanded by the Paternian military. Firstly, the use of a gas block which features a fixed front sight and bayonet lug was seen as superfluous, as UDC experts felt that bayonets were obsolete. In addition, it was felt the standard CAR-15-style telescopic stock was not sufficiently strong. Finally, the UDC saw no use for rifle grenades. Interestingly enough, the Paternian military didn't use rifle grenades, but felt that the rifle should retain the ability to employ them anyways. Thus, this was decided as the ideal carbine for general issue. This particular weapon has a Magpul AFG, Magpul PMAG with Magpul sleeve, Grip Pod, 4x ACOG sight, AN/PEG-16 Laser Aiming Device, Y-Tech Enhanced Flash Suppressor, and a Unity Telescopic Stock.
