Auto Credit Based on belugasub's [CLOSED] Dogfight tournament! [25 upvote prize] (WW2 Fiction & Replica)
The XF14 was designed in 1941 as a competitor to the F6F hellcat, meant to be powered by the Lycoming XH-2470-4 H-24 engine, similar to the napier saber. however this was not available, so an underrated wright XR-3350-16 was used. by this time though, it was well past the deliverance of the Hellcat, and the XF14 was an abysmal failure.
this rendition uses a combined blade T2000 blade T3000 setup to give it that low altitude getup and go. I experimented with custom wings. However it is mainly meant as an AI aircraft for a challenge so it is a little basic with the landing gear. I will be making better gear in the future.
