There was a good concept for fighters around the Cold War. There were the planes that can take off from anywhere like those Convair boys. There are also a concept fighter for the 747 and so called Microfighters. What if we told you, we already had a great design. A great design that also incorporated the latest UAV systems. The very same UAV system that the modern UAV systems was based on. For roles not only suited for recon, but for escort and even attack roles.

The XD-10 Buzzer was a drone built originally for the MQ-X program of the US Experimental Avionics program. But once the MQ-1, MQ-9, and the Globalhawks gained dominance, we took this project underground, both figuratively and literally. We managed to put in 4 missiles, a M-61 Vulcan, an Advanced Infrared, Radio, Lazer Target Passive/Active Aquiring pod (AIRLTP/A) and a XUNW-98 Turbojet. Due to the small size, there isn’t enough room for a fully retracting landing gear system or a completely internal weapons bay but due to its small size, it doesn’t even matter as it still reaches 1400mph at 1000ft. The small weight also has the added benifit of an extremely high power/weight ratio that it can launch from an edge of a story high building and not even touch the ground. It is so light, small, and modular, it can fit inside a 747 cargo bay, with 20 other XD-10s and leave room for the rearmament, refuel, launch, and recovery systems we’ve developed.

The control system can be overridden by a person and a connected controller. The system is designed to be lightweight and easy to assemble. So easy in fact, you can land the “pilot” and the system on a carrier, set it up, take manual control of the aircraft, and land it. All in less than 3 minutes of the landing.
